At David Conner + Associates, the spaces we create are intended to connect people with nature and deliver something deeper than aesthetic value.

Our most recent design addition, the Chapman Healing Garden, is being installed at Wilmot Gardens on the University of Florida - Gainesville campus. The garden is specifically designed to be therapeutic and stress-reducing for patients, staff, families, and other visitors who seek out the peace and tranquility of the garden.

The Safford Avenue Recreation Corridor is a new jewel in the crown of the Pinellas Trail system.  Once considered a nasty end to a beautiful ride, the completed project provides a reason to ride further.   The project widened the trail median by reducing widths of adjacent roads.  Trees now shade the trail and provide protection from vehicles.   A fitness park and restored wetlands offers riders an opportunity to experience the beauty of the local community.

The Highland Recreation Complex is a renovation and expansion to a Community Center in Largo, Florida. The site planning and design effort folds the building into the natural landscape, highlighting one of the last remaining Native Long Leaf Pine Forests in Pinellas County.  Landscape and storm water retention were designed singularly, and shaded trails provide access to outside amenities, exercise equipment, parking, and adjacent neighborhoods.
