Post from Annetta Snider - daughter of Lionel 9th January 2017

I am sad to announce that Lionel Freedman, my father, passed away peacefully this afternoon at 15.20 with Beth and myself at his side. I know he will be missed greatly by World Hickory Golfers.

He is looking forward to greeting old friends and a number of new ones.

The Chairman is delighted to announce, that Sandy Lyle has confirmed his entry for this years World Hickory Open at Panmure and will try to reclaim the title he won in 2014. I'm sure some of our past champions, will try hard to prevent this.
