Just finished up this "Day in the Life of a Weena-Man" with +Cory Grove of the infamous Cobra Dogs for Yobeat. Fun stuff. A little peeing off mountains, a little heckling by Aaron Draplin, and a little snowboarding.

In the mid 90s, Kieran Chapman took the New England BMX zine "Wire" first to Hypercard stack (distributed on a 3.5" floppy), then to the web. eWire was way ahead of it's time.

Kieran set up a Vimeo channel with the "best of" Wire video containing highlights from the videos he made between 1989 and 1995, all New England based. Some big names in these things: Joe Johnson, Keith McElhinney, Josh Heino, Adam Murphy, Darren Pelio, etc. There's also a dude who looks like a much younger version of myself.

These videos only made it to VHS, then a few years ago surfaced on YouTube, so it's great to see them archived on Vimeo.

Vimeo channel for Wire (the original BMX web site) best of video (1989-1995). New England BMX history. http://vimeo.com/channels/wirevideo

It's been a long time since I've really had any BMX clips of myself filmed... Shit maybe 10 years... But my old Boston friend / fellow Portland transplant has been filming some stuff for a video, and its always easy filming with old friends. There's a clip of me in the trailer at 1:48.... Guess this means I have to get on my filming game and stack some clips? Fun stuff. Let's tear ligaments and get bruised! http://vimeo.com/27469483

Checked out the NW Vintage BMX show today in Vancouver, WA. Shot a few photos. The late 70s Patterson was amazing. That bike has stood the test of time.
