Serious communication issues. After a month, I still do not even have a quote. My first follow-up email was replied to automatically with an out-of-office message set with the wrong dates. I then contacted the company directly, and they just told me that the agent was out with other clients and would get back to me. They didn't. I emailed a third time, and they claimed the quote was sent, but I even checked my spam/junk as well, and no email. They said to let them know if I wasn't able to find it, so I let them know and received no response. I sent a final email a day or so later (that was about a week ago) and still received no response. Poor communication both internally and externally.

Move went quickly and smoothly. Loaded all of our stuff in the truck and made sure fragile items were protected. Nice folks too, and made sure to get out in front of any issues with parking or fitting the truck into a suitable loading zone. Highly recommended.

Initially, setting up everything for this move went very smoothly and I had a good feeling about it over all. This was a huge move for us, so we left everything in their hands. Packing, shipping, storing of our belongings and then ultimately delivering our items. This was the initial plan anyway. The issues began the day the movers showed up. The weather was pretty terrible that day (snow in Portland and negative temps makes for terrible driving in a salt free state) so the movers were understandably trying to hurry things along. They were in a huge hurry to get going and finally after realizing the amount of items left to be loaded onto the truck the driver asked if he could just PAY ME $50 for the items left so they could get going on their way. I said absolutely not and I should have taken this as a sign of the huge issues to come! After the items were packed and moving across country, I get a call from Kory to say that their storage facility was refusing our shipment and so he would have to find a different storage facility. I asked why they were refusing the shipment and he just said he wasn't sure, but assured me that they would get it stored and taken care of for us. At no time did he mention what a huge issue this would be later on as the storage facility he put our items in was not even an Allied storage facility, but just a facility he picked to store our items. After our stuff was delivered to our new home, we realized that there were several items that were broken (it was a big move, so we kind of expected some things might get jostled) but we also had items missing. So, we filed a claim with Allied and left it in their hands. We were very cooperative and sent several photos and all documentation from our delivery. We even sent over our inventory list, as they some how did not have any of this for the claim. After going back and forth via email for over a month, they finally get back with us only to tell us that the items damaged were not their responsibility, but the responsibility of the storage facility that they were in. (Even though they packed and shipped all these items and then turned everything over to the storage facility after their facility mysteriously refused the shipment.) We went back and forth with this, via email, with them and the storage facility and then Allied came back to say that they were also not taking responsibility for any missing items, as they could not be sure that they ever had possession of said items. This is absolutely LUDICROUS! I watched every last item packed and moved onto the moving truck as we emptied out our house! I walked through, while the movers were there, to make sure that everything had been packed and was on the truck, as the new home owners were taking possession of the house the next day. We were more than patient and willing to help with this claim in any way, but now we realize that this was probably going to be the outcome all along. We assume now that this is why the Allied facility refused the shipment initially, so that they could be completely relinquished of all blame had any issues come up. I WOULD NOT recommend using this company for moving. They are dishonest and completely unprofessional. We were willing to accept that some items may be broken in an almost 3000 mile move, but did not expect that we would be left to deal with all the damages and missing items. We still have not resolved this and our items have not turned up. Their stance was 'oh well, not on us' Passing this onto the storage facility and leaving it at that just shows the true colors of this company. I would highly recommend anyone considering using this company, run the other way! Don't set yourself up for disappointment when making a big move is already hard enough as is.

Top notch service. The crew that helped move my belongings was thoughtful, cautious, and very productive. I highly recommend that any family or person looking to move seek their services, because moving is a massive process that requires more than just a few random men throwing things into the back of a truck. Prestige movers are qualified, diligent, professional, and respectable. They made my moving experience quick and easy, and will help you or your family get your belongings where they need to be in one piece.
