This place is bustling during peak lunch hours! I would suggest coming on the early or later side of lunch (11ish, 2ish) to avoid indoor seat shortage. I had a really tough time deciding what to get but eventually picked the Duck Confit Sandwich, iced tea, & red velvet cookie from Xtreme Desserts. The sandwich was complex b/c the duck was superbly paired w/ jam. The iced tea was refreshing & the cookie satisfied my sweet tooth. It's not expensive but not cheap given the quality of the ingredients. I'll be back to try the other sandwiches & salads!

Very relaxed, fun atmosphere. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, but slow. Food is fantastic and unique.

the valley "go-to" for cheese. a very knowledgeable and friendly staff will help you sort out what you like and what to try, but be prepared to wait a while as they indulge every customer and savor the experience of shopping for cheeses. check it out during the week at lunch for great sandwiches too. also, stop in on sundays after the laurel canyon farmer's market for the new shipment of burrata

Home to one of Los Angeles's best sandwiches (duck confit). It is busy but cheerful and the only problem is choosing what to order.
