Mr. Delgado delivered. He said what was possible and what he could do for me. Although I didn't get everything I had hoped for, he got everything I needed and I'm extremely happy with his representation. I hope to never need a lawyer in the future but if I do, Mr. Delgado will be the one I will call. Thanks again Aaron and have a Merry X-mas and Happy New Year.

Mr. Delgado was recommended to me by a friend and I'm so glad for that. He handled my case professionally, efficiently, and very quickly. Beginning from day one, he answered weekend calls, late night emails, and any question I had; I typically received a response in under five minutes. His hard work and due diligence had my case resolved within three months. If I ever need legal services again, I will contact him straightaway and am absolutely confident that he will provide the same exemplary level of service as he already has.

I consulted with Mr. Delgado on a personal injury matter. He was polite, professional and offered advice that I would haven't been able to gain elsewhere in Florida. He treated me with respect and honesty at every step of the way and I'm convinced I could not have found a better legal counsel. One of the few upstanding attorneys in the area. I would recommend him to all of my friends and relatives in any matters!

If your looking for a firm that will aggressively defend you AND treat you like a human being, DDRR is it! From the moment you walk in the door the front staff is courteous. Mr. Delgado wanted to hear my entire story and did not treat me like I was part of a revolving door of clients. During my case the firm kept me updated. Communication with Mr. Delgado when I had a question or concern was always prompt. Mr. Delgado fought for an amazing outcome in my case and it was evident the work he put in showed in the end. Although there may be other great Defense Lawyers in the Volusia County area, this firm will ALWAYS be my go to law firm.

Extremely professional and Mr. Damore defended me until the end. I had adjudication withheld and received minor probation for something that could have been much much worse. I want to thank the lawyers and the staff for all of their help.

These guys are amazing!!! They handled my case very professionally and kept me up to date with everything that was going on. I didn't just hire a lawyer, I hired a team of hard working and knowledgeable men and women. I never stepped into the courtroom until it was absolutely necessary. And when I finally did even they handled everything aggressively and with confidence. A little over a year later I received a friendly text that read "Congratulations!" with an attached photo of an approved motion to terminate my probation early. What an awesome surprise! I am very happy with the outcome and very thankful to everyone at DDR&R. I highly recommend this firm to anyone that may find themselves in a difficult situation.

I have utilized the professional legal services of A. Delgado routinely for 10 years both for my company and for personal issues. In all dealings with Mr Delgado he has proven to be extremely competent and solved the situation to my highest satisfaction. He has returned my calls on weekends, late evenings and at other times not convenient for him. He always hears me out, clarifies the situation and takes decisive correct action promptly. Mr Delgado is truely a credit to the legal system, unusual in his strict client focus and I hold him in the highest regard as a caring person and effective legal representative.

Mr. Delgado is exactly what I'd look for in legal representation: honest, hardworking, and tenacious. I'd highly recommend him and his firm to my friends and family members. I can't wait to see the vision he has for the city as it's not in his DNA to do anything halfway.

Drug sentencing reform closer to reality
Check out this article about sentencing reform for federal drug crimes. Just over 6,000 federal inmates were recently granted early release following the U.S. Sentencing Commission's recommendations to retroactively reduce some drug crime sentences. The early release is happening just as the U.S. Congress prepares to vote on legislation that could reform sentences for many drug offenses, particularly mandatory minimum sentences.

Florida is not a good place to get caught using marijuana
Read this article if you are interested in Florida laws regarding marijuana use. Florida is one of the toughest states in the nation for marijuana penalties. A proposed act, if passed, would decriminalize marijuana and allow it to be regulated. You will need to speak with a criminal defense lawyer if you are facing marijuana charges.

What rights do Floridians have at DUI checkpoints?
Take a look at this article about Florida DUI checkpoints. Read more to learn what rights drivers have when stopped by authorities at these checkpoints. Law enforcement agencies in Florida often conduct DUI checkpoints to identify and arrest drunk drivers. While answering questions and performing roadside tests are potentially incriminating, they are generally voluntary. Once placed under arrest, however, Florida drivers must submit to chemical testing, including breath tests. Refusing chemical tests could carry penalties on top of those that may be imposed if people are convicted of DUI.
