General Discussion  -

Some days ago I was an ubuntu-user. Now I have a pretty stable debian-system. I throw me into it and learned very much about this distro and the configurations. Of course, it isn't so easy like ubuntu (wifi-driver install etc.). But it was worth to deal with it.
1 Question: Did debian install a graphic driver during the install of this distro? It works very well all in all but I don't know if I should re-install my nvidia graphics driver? I don't want to destroy something. I don't play any games.

If you want you can install nvidia proprietary drivers, I mean if you really want to play games.
Just dont install binary from nvidia site. There is package in debian official repository that will give you a driver which will  install itself with every new kernel installation.

Check this page and let it be your guide: http://wiki.debian.org/NvidiaGraphicsDrivers

Ich brauche Hilfe bei...  -

Audio device: Intel Corporation 7 Series/C210 Series Chipset Family High Definition Audio Controller (rev 04)
Soundtreiber: 0 [PCH            ]: HDA-Intel - HDA Intel PCH
HDA Intel PCH at 0xd3f10000 irq 46

Hast Du schon darüber nachgedacht PulseAudio zu installieren. Soweit ich mich recht entsinne, bietet Pulsaudio einiges mehr an Einstellmöglichkeiten. Einen Versuch sollte es wert sein.

(SOLVED) I have one problem: If I boot #! , have to load my screenlayout  file (sh-data) in ARandR to configure the monitor-resolutions (and to seperate this monitors) every time. How can I save this monitor-configuration? the wallpaper changes every time too.
my sh-data:
#!/bin/sh
xrandr --output HDMI1 --mode 1920x1200 --pos 0x0 --rotate normal --output LVDS1 --mode 1920x1080 --pos 1920x0 --rotate normal --output DP1 --off --output VGA1 --off

please help me to avoid monitor-config every time :D many thanks in advance

Hey. I think Point Linux is very cool. I shared it in Debian and Linux Community. Nice idea with wheezy+mate. In my opinion it will very popular. I hope so. I will support this distro - further on. May you do well!

Have a look at Point Linux with Mate-Dekstop. It's based on Debian Wheezy. In my opinion, it's very interesting. Have a try.
