The label ‘airless’ is used because this paint spraying system does not use compressed air to atomise paint and the tip breaks up the paint into tiny, evenly sized droplets. How does this process work and when is it best to use an airless gun? What is the best way to apply a coating and how should you look after your airless unit? This guide to airless spraying answers all those questions. http://vandacoatings.co.uk/blog/what-airless-paint-spraying/

For metalwork recoating in enclosed spaces such as lift interiors, the electrostatic spraying technique is usually the best. Two lifts servicing apartments were re-sprayed electrostatically. Our Vanda team completed the project in Poole within a day where a beautiful blue painted finish was achieved. http://vandacoatings.co.uk/case-studies/painting-lift-interiors-poole/

A boarded up car showroom was transformed after graffiti was removed and a contemporary silver grey coating was spray applied on-site to all the cladding and curtain walling. The dealership in Birmingham was then ready for Tesla to open. http://vandacoatings.co.uk/case-studies/metal-spraying-on-site-tesla-birmingham/

Extreme cold is not ideal for painting metal, so spraying in winter isn’t a good idea. Nevertheless, as long as the operatives employed by the onsite paint spraying company know what they are doing, most substrates can be painted in colder weather. By following our advice the most common pitfalls can be avoided. http://vandacoatings.co.uk/blog/can-you-paint-external-metal-cold-weather/

An electrostatic paint spraying system induces an electrical charge onto the droplets of paint as they leave the spray gun. The paint is atomised through an electric field and the particles become charged. The law of attraction then takes over with the positively charged paint particles reaching the negatively charged metal surface at force that is 75 times greater than gravity. http://vandacoatings.co.uk/blog/how-does-electrostatic-spraying-work/

Metal shopfront frameworks and cladding should be recoated if the colour has faded as in the case of this Staples outlet in Glasgow. A recoat was also called for because new colours had been selected by the client and since we had worked on other Staples shops throughout the UK, we were asked to do the work. http://vandacoatings.co.uk/case-studies/retail-unit-painting-staples-glasgow/

A staircase in a very expensive house in London needed a lot of work to restore it properly. Part of it had been hand painted which left unsightly ridges on the surface. Our experts used different spray painting methods to get the best finish on the metal balustrading after sanding it down. http://vandacoatings.co.uk/case-studies/refurbishing-balustrades-notting-hill/

Once a supplier has been vetted by Constructionline and they have passed their stringent criteria, they will be put on to their large database. We have gone through this process and Vanda are now on the register. The procedures followed by Constructionline are on a par with the Local Government Act and European legislation regarding procurement and the pre-qualification process. http://vandacoatings.co.uk/blog/vanda-coatings-registered-constructionline/
