Interesting little eatery right next to dos gatos. The appearance might put you off at first, but the food here is pretty good. I was a little worried watching them cook my food because most of them have long hair/dreads, and I didn't see any hair nets to hold their hair back. The food isn't your typical fast food it has a very gourmet style fast food feel to it. I need to come back and try some more options. All I've had so far is the Panko chicken sandwich. It is one of their most popular items and it was recommended to me so I went with it. You won't be disappointed. I'm not a fan of blue cheese on it, but other than that it was good. When I get a chance to try more options I'll bring it up to 5 stars. Don't pass this place up if you're hungry and in the area.

Don't let the looks of this place fool you, I work right across the street so I have had the chance to try just about all of their sandwiches. I haven't tried a single thing I didn't like. The food here is amazing and the people who work there are very friendly. The price is good too.. By far the best sandwich shop In town.

Hands down the best burger place in town. The West sider is amazing. You have to go during lunch to get the special they make different everyday which is always awesome.

What to say about Chomp Chomp? I was looking for a place to eat for dinner and google'd 'places to eat downtown jax' and Chomp Chomp was one of the places that populated. I get excited and giddy when i know im going to eat at chomp chomp. My first time was this past saturday 11/9 and i couldnt wait to go back the next day but sadly they are closed on Sunday and Mondays. I ended up going back on Thursday. It is a small hole in the wall type of place. With about four small tables cramped into the inside and stickers of bands, groups, sayings, and randomness that litters the wall. Music usually playing with the cooks jamming to the tunes. The staff is friendly. I had the pan crusted chicken sandwhich and the curry chips the first time I went. Explosion of flavors. The chicken was cooked perfectly mixed with the cheese and the sauce and the bread.. oh the bread. It did it for me. Even though i didnt really like the curry chips, I still ate them. My next visit was just as good. I had gotten the Banh mi and salad. Fresh bread and ingredients. My goal is to try everything on their menu. The good thing is that they are open late night so i am able to grab some after work. If i could rate this 6 stars I would but 5/5 will have to do. Would Recommend!

I've been there once but it was delicious. I got some kind of mushroom burger and the curry fries. Those fries, let me tell you...
