Empathy is powerful leadership tool, but it's also key to trustability. Companies who can anticipate their customers' needs are the future of business. Do you have a special someone in your life who knows how to help without even needing you to ask for it?

Did you know? Today is National Honesty Day! It was founded by M. Hirsh Goldberg in the early 1990s, inspired by his work writing The Book of Lies. Goldberg thought since April began with a day dedicated to lying (April Fools Day), it should end on a higher moral note.

So let’s celebrate by being more open and honest with each other – do you have a story when honesty worked out for the best (or the worst)?

Introduction
Not so long ago, being reasonably trustworthy was good enough. But soon only the extremely trustworthy will thrive. If you accidentally try to order the same song twice from iTunes, you’ll be warned that you already own it. Not because it would be illegal or unethical for Apple to profit from your forgetfulness. There’s a clear business reason: The leaders of iTunes realize there’s no better way to make you trust them than to be totally honest when you least expect it.
