The Dream Downtown Hotel lobby hosts this lounge-like steakhouse from a Top Chef personality.- Google
People talk about pepper crusted center cut filet, peekytoe crab cakes, crackling bobo chicken, yellowfin tuna tartare and cowboy bone-in ribeye

While this ultra-trendy spot is mainly known for their steaks, we prefer to order the Tuna Tartare, followed by the Crackling Bobo Chicken. Head up to PH-D after to party the night away.

The service left something to be desired. We saw our waiter exactly 4 times throughout the evening (drink order, food order, food delivery, check) and even then we had to look for him. We probably would have ordered a lot more drinks if he had been around more, but he never checked in. And the restaurant was empty when we got there so he couldn't have been too busy. But we went for the food, not the service, and the food was great. Their burger probably made my top 10 list. The Beef Carpaccio was also spectacular.

Beautiful set up BUT the food was horrible. I have never paid so much money for such bad food. Seared Tuna was cooked through and dry. Flounder which was the special of the night, again dry and overly fried. The steak was ordered medium but was served well done.... they literally poured barbecue cause on the steak and served it... I could have gotten the same at the diner for half the price. Of course I didn't order all these it was what my friends and I ordered but we all tasted each other's food... the only thing really tasty was the oysters; well they didn't cook those. $92 million in renovation and they couldn't hire a better cook!! such a shame. Overall very bad experience.

This is really great restaurant. All dishes I tried were super-delicious, and in addition - the service is great: the food is served very fast, and waiters are attentive. The cost is ~$20-$26 for main dish and ~$3 for a cup of tea. It's worth it.

The service was terrible the night we were there. However, it was a busy Thursday night, so maybe the polite servers can't be to blame. The food was delicious, and they kept the bubbly coming! They were able to see our group of seven quickly, although that sat us in front of a loud group of obnoxious business men who kept "apologizing" for their volume as a way to hit on us. All in all, I'd give it another chance.

Bucks the trend of scene-y hotel bar/restaurants with truly delicious food to be had amongst the models and scenesters.
