I don't know how you could rate this restaurant and its service other than a five star!. this has been our regular "special" restaurant for years, and is still our #1 favorite in all of Annapolis!

Awesome. Heard great things about Harry Browne's and it didn't disappoint. The best meal I've had in Annapolis to date.

The brunch buffet was diverse and worth the money. The "a la carte" options are not. The service was terribly slow (for those in my group that didn't get the buffet option), spoiling the experience.

I took my fiance to Harry Brownes, mainly for the view and its romantic atmosphere. When we entered the restaurant, I was surprised to see how cramped it felt! We didn't sit inside since it felt like the person next to us could hear everything. We took a table outside, my fiance ordered the duck entree and I, the salmon. The duck had barely any meat on it, it tasted like really greasy chicken without any flavor, while the vegetables adorning it were over cooked, I would expect more even from a diner. Midway into our meal, another group of people sat outside, they had not ordered a thing, they were starting to get very loud and obnoxious, so I finally asked the waitress to see if they could leave(since they were not customers). They insisted they were waiting for the bar above to open and continued talking loudly as if they were the only ones for miles. Their loudness made conversation with my fiance impossible, it really ruined the entire dinner, I heard every single thing they saying, word for word. I felt justified to leave no tip, as the waitress could have asked them to be more respectful, or to simply move inside. I guess the promise of potential customers was more important than the satisfaction of a current customer. After I left no tip, the gray haired lady who welcomed us at the door,( Im assuming she may be the owner or some egotistic supervisor) chased me down the block and DEMANDED I leave a tip! I couldn't believe it! She was yelling at me and telling me it wasn't the waitresses fault, I ended up leaving a tip and being made a complete fool in front of my fiance when in reality I had every right to not leave a tip. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE is despicable, and downright UNJUST. I will never return to this restaurant--BOTH the FOOD and the SERVICE is disgusting.

The view of the Capitol can't be beat, and our server was cheerful and attentive. Unfortunately the food was mostly disappointing. The creme of crab soup was the only part of the 4 course meal for two worth the price. Glad we tried it, but we won't be returning.

An old standby, but like a waxed moustache just beginning to droop into the soup bowl- agreeable surroundings, just more than a bit tired

Maybe the food was slow coming because it was boat show weekend, however, if you have been in business for thirty years and the boat show has been that long also you would "staff-up" your kitchen for the extra load! Our appetizers arrived rather timely, however our food took an hour and half from when we orderd it to arrive at the table. My fish was very dry and had no flavor, my husband loved his tuna. The people around us were also waiting at least an hour for food to arrive. The waiter did his best to be attentive ( asking us if we wanted bread, etc) to pass the time. For the price I would not be a repeat customer.
