G+ General Help  -

I had two Google+ pages(Duplicates) for my business. One that I created when Google+ first came out and the other that Google+ created for my business. I chose to delete the page I had originally set up and went with the one Google had set up. I never set up the custom URL and had the choice to use my business name in the old page that I deleted. I never set it up. On the current page when I try to set up the URL, it tells me to add a few characters at the end to make it unique. I'd like to use my business name without the extra unique characters if possible.

If you are unhappy with the offer of CustomURL, do not accept the offer. Please send Feedback (in the left-hand drop down menu). Ensure you state why you would prefer a different offer and how the offers could be improved in the future for other users and yourself.
If you have accepted the offer the only thing you can do is submit feedback, but changing your customURL once accepted is unlikely

The team looks at each and every piece of feedback sent in, and the more feedback they get on a particular topic, the more this becomes a priority. Even though a direct response from the feedback team is rare.

When submitting feedback
supply your current URL
the offered URL
and the preferred URL

There is no guarantee that this will make a difference in being offered a different CustomURL, but it has been known to work especially if you are polite towards the team reviewing your feedback.

If you have been offered your preferred URL to a different account supply the URL for that account. Also give the Feedback from that account as well.

To activate the Feedback Tool type an @ symbol outside of a text entry area, or click on the link at the bottom of the left side menu.

Trust me if there was a steam plume at Black Butte (which I'm viewing as I type this) there would wide coverage of the event. That off shore volcanic event was totally predicted! "Beginning Thursday, April 23 — the day after the workshop ended — the new sensors recorded 8,000 small earthquakes in a 24-hour period. The volcano’s caldera, which had been swelling rapidly from an influx of magma, collapsed like a deflated balloon.

“All the alarm bells were going off,” said Oregon State University volcanologist Bill Chadwick, who along with colleague Scott Nooner predicted last year that the volcano would erupt in 2015. “It was very exciting.”" http://goo.gl/jwBIxj

In LA you should be fresh squeezing Valencia oranges and eating the Navels! Nice shot of the Pacific Design Center

That Central Oregon plume you see are controlled burns. Also, it's pretty common for our peaks in the area to vent steam. http://www.ktvz.com/news/Prescribed-burn-planned-by-Black-Butte-Ranch/32652246
