Culinary Cooking Class

Today is the day for the exclusive gastronomic cooking class with honorary guest chef Mr Aek Chattrakul from Thailand at The House of GAGGENAU.

Specially invited guests will get the opportunity to experience first hand what it is like to cook like a professional chef. As Chef Aek leads the cooking class, guests will be using 'S-Pure' brand Betagro Group products such as the SPF Pork, ABF Chicken and the Salmonella Free Eggs.

The Mangalica

This unique wooly pig isn't like standard pigs. Its thick wooly hair and very large body are perculiar characteristics you can expect with the Mangalica breed.

Supplied by PICK from Hungary, this national heritage pork has a mouthwatering taste that is so succulent and juicy.

Honorary Guest Chef 

Calling all food lovers! This year we are proud to announce that we have an honorary guest chef from Thailand at our main booth serving up delicious dishes along with other chefs to accompany him during HOFEX.

Chef Aek Charttrakul of Thailand, winner of "The Olympics Gold Medal Chef" from IKA Culinary Competition Olympics in Germany 2012 will lead young chefs from Hong Kong Chef Association to prepare gourmet meats using GAGGENAU cooking equipment for our guests to savour along with Hungarian wines and GAGGIA Milano Coffee.

HOFEX Booth Design Update

Over the weekend we visited mainland China to see the design and progress of our main booth at HOFEX. The booth this year is going to be far bigger and better then our previous years. 

We will have a kitchen area where our honorary chef will be cooking up exclusive dishes, we have a section where we will display the 5 supllilers products, we have a coffee/chatting area with seats and GAGGIA coffee machines and lastly a section dedicated entirely to S.Pure

HOFEX Network Reception

On Thursday, we were at the Hofex Networking Reception show, representing AOM, Coleman Chicken, S.Pure Pork and Welsh Lamb. A chef was onboard, pan frying a tasty Rack Loin of Welsh Lamb to serve to the public, press and organisers. 

Giving a demonstration to the press we demonstrated the unique packaging we use for our AOM products. Modified Atmospheric Packaging (MAP) allows the meat to retain its natural colour, retain the freshness and extend the shelflife. We also stood on the packaging to show the strength it can withold and invited the press to try this out too.
