The customer service here is TERRIBLE. I used to love Kirklands, but after my recent experience with this company, I will not be shopping here again. I placed an order online for free in-store pick up (which I thought would be great but I was so so wrong!). I received an e-mail confirmation for my purchase saying that I would get another e-mail once my item was ready to pick up. After two weeks and no e-mail, I called this store and was told that my item had been there for 4 days. They couldn't explain why I was never notified. When I showed up at the store that same day to pick up my item, the store clerk opened the box to check my order and realized that the wrong item had been shipped. The store manager advised me that she would have to cancel my order completely, I would get refunded within 5 - 7 business days, and then I would then have to go online and re-order the item (which was no longer listed at the same sale price). This was the only solution she could offer me. My husband called customer service that afternoon and was told by a representative that they could re-order the item for us at the sale price we paid plus 10% off for the inconvenience. We could not accept the offer at that time as we needed to wait until the refund for the cancelled order posted to our account before we could afford to make this purchase again (it was a large furniture purchase that was not inexpensive). After a week went by, I e-mailed customer service to follow-up on my refund status and received a response simply stating that they "would look into it". Several days later, I received another e-mail stating that for some reason my order was never cancelled to begin with, but they went ahead and cancelled it, and that I would receive my refund within 5 - 7 business days! As of today, it has been almost 1 month since I originally ordered my item, and I still have not received my refund. This whole ordeal has been without a doubt the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life.
