Hidden from the outside world, nestled in the west Himalayan region lies an enchanted Valley – “The Valley of Flowers”. A breathtaking array of over 500 different species of wild flowers spread over an area of 87.5 sq. km. Valley of Flowers is situated in Bhyundar Valley at an elevation of 3,658 mts above sea level. 

We will encounter numerous cascading waterfalls on the route to Valley of Flowers. 
Capture thick dew drops on the vivid flowers, listen to the chirping of birds and enjoy the salubrious air of the Himalayas.

It has been acknowledged by botanists, mountaineers and nature lovers as one of the most picturesque high altitude valleys in the world.

Itinerary

Day One: 1st September 2012, Saturday
Delhi to Devprayag (312 Km) 
Departure from Delhi (Himachal Bhawan) at 7:00 am; Lovely September early Morning is the best time to start our journey to the dream land Valley of Flowers ; Lunch on the way ; Will pass through Haridwar & Rishikesh towards our first halt Devprayag. Diner and stay at Devpryag. 

Day Two: 2nd September 2012, Sunday
Devprayag to Joshimath (180 Km) 
Leave Devprayag early morning and journey through the mighty Hills towards Joshimath. On the way enjoy the breathtaking views of mountains and blue sky with occasional clouds & Rains. Breakfast and Lunch on the way. Diner and stay at Joshimath. 

Day Three : 3rd September 2012, Monday 
Joshimath to Ghangaria (19 km drive + 14 km trek) 
Leave Joshimath at 6:30am. Reach Gobindghat after a drive of 19 km; Start trekking towards Ghangaria which is 14 km away – an amazing and unforgettable journey through the mountains and rivers, green forests and colorful flowers. Reaching Ghangaria the base camp for Valley of Flowers. Stay at Ghangaria. 

Day Four: 4th September 2012, Tuesday
Ghangeria to Valley of Flowers and back (3 km + 3 km) 
As you wake up in the lap of Himalayas and proceed for a 3 km ascend trek, you will find yourself in a place truly called God’s own land. Playground of the Fairies will welcome you with its amazing colors and grace. After exploring the beautiful Valley of flowers whole day, the team will come back to Ghangeria by the evening. Stay at Ghangaria. 

Day Five: 5th September 2012, Wednesday
Ghangeria to Joshimath (14 km + 19 km) 
Early morning start our trek back to Gobindghat from where will drive back to Joshimath; Stay at Joshimath. 

Day Six: 6th September 2012, Thursday 
Joshimath to Rishikesh (250 Km) 
Morning breakfast at Hotel and proceed for our return journey to Rishikesh ; Lunch on the way. 
You can raft your way down from Shivpuri to Rishikesh if interested. Stay at Rishikesh. 

Day Seven: 7th September 2012, Friday
Rishikesh to Delhi (222km) 
Day seven will bid a final adieu to the Himalayas and leave Rishikesh for the journey back home carrying along with loads of unforgettable memories to treasure forever. Lunch on the way
