1. Students will begin to prepare their muslin (Pullover Sundress). You will need to purchase about 4 yards of muslin fabric. The muslin fabric is an inexpensive fabric for sampling your garments.

2. Measure your muslin fabric for the sample (Pullover Sundress) 40 inches in length and 15 inches in width.

3. Place both pieces of muslin fabric next to each other on the table.

4. Take the front and back (Pullover Sundress) pattern and lay them on top of the muslin fabric. Make sure the folded part of the pattern is place on the folded part of the fabric.

6. Take a black sharpie marker and trace both pattern.

8. Write your information onto the muslin fabric both front and back. 1. First line: (Front or back- Pullover Sundress) 2. Second Line - (The Grain Line) 3. Third Line - (The Fold line) at the bottom far right of your garment write your name, date, size and project or school class name.

11. Use fashion pins for pinning the front and back muslin fabric and for cutting out the two pieces.
