Removed my work email program (MobileIron/Touchdown) last week. Noticed that it was still eating up tons of CPU and data. Yes - it was still installed, but it didn't show up in apps. It does show up in the process list. From there, I tried to uninstall it, but it said I didn't have authorization to uninstall it. I had to go to a very hidden device administers menu. From there, I had to request authorization to deactivate it. That isn't automatic. I clicked it early this morning and I just got a notice that the deactivation was accepted. So, apparently, it sent a message to some IT micromanager who authorized it while he was at lunch. Finally, I was able to uninstall it. Now, amazingly, when I unlock my phone, it unlocks. When I click on something, it opens. Even my clock shows what time it is - not what time it was 10-15 minutes ago. It was so bad that my 6:00am alarm was going off around 6:30 because it took that long to get system access away from my work email program.
