I've got a Roleicord that I need to get out more often. I'm on the list for a kickstarter 4x5 film view camera. Can't wait to develop me some big negatives and scan them. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/wanderlust/travelwide-45-camera

Thank you so much for the upload. I remember watching many of these cars at Le Mans back in the day. A few other races too. Superb cars.

Thanks for the tip. I am one of those "bring the club back low and slow" golfers. My swing needs work.

As usual an excellent review. Thanks. I have a Taurus PT809, there full size 9mm. I'm thinking about CC more and more and I think this is one of the best options for me out there.

OK we know it's dust and rain resistant but don't just drop an 8.5K medium format camera in the sand and wash it off like this. Show it just a little more respect. Jeez!

Kind of late coming in but I did buy a K-5II a year or so ago and it's been a great camera. I use mostly prime lenses with mine just to get that extra level of sharpness primes offer. No focus issues. I do like all the external controls, so easy to use. I use the optional battery grip with mine which I alway recommend. Also pick up an M-42 adapter so you can use some vintage manual focus Pentax Takumar lenses for a few bucks on ebay. Just superb!

Hi Douglas!
Thanks for sharing. It really is a great camera, and the M-42 adapter and lens tip is a great idea. :)

Introduction
I live in Katy, Texas. I am a photography enthusiast and I use a Pentax K-5 II DSLR to photograph family, friends, events and nature. I collect old manual focus M42 Takumar lenses to use in my photography pursuits.

I am also a handgun owner and a proud member of the NRA. I like taking my firearm to the range for practice and enjoy spending time with my son-in-law, Philip.

I also enjoy playing golf, cooking & grilling, reading action thrillers by Brad Thor and a good beer from time to time.
