Intimate, cheery spot with counter seating that lures locals with market-fresh Mexican favorites.- Google
"Specialities are the tilapia tacos, rib eye, shrimp and pork."
"Al pastor is juicier than the carne but the carne is well seasoned."

Sabor! Plus, I recommend the veggie torta/burrito of the day. There's a delicious garlic rosemary roast potato selection with swiss chard that's the bomb!

Well seasoned meats across the board. Pastor. Fish tacos. Even simple chicken tacos were full-flavored. Guacamole is also outstanding. Highly recommend.

My mouth waters when I think of L'Patron. The place is always packed, which is validation to the greatness that is L'Patron. Their meats, perfectly marinated. I wish I could clone it and move it closer to the westside. I'm always impressed with their efficient service and order taking. I don't mind waiting in a line, as long as the line moves. And they get that done here. *Also, as an germaphobe, I LOVE that they have a sink where one can wash ones hands before going to town on goodness. Kuddos to you, L'Patron.

Cant beat their veggie taco deals. Definitely authentic Mexican. Very popular place with standing room only, so make sure you have a place to eat it or you will need to wait for the few counter seats and regular seats to open up. Better for pick up.

Always bustling and busy. The general factors are a bit limiting: short hours and cash only. But for the quality of food at this price, those are small concessions to make. Their carne asada is well documented in various lists as one of the best in the country, let alone the city. Their al pastor is also up there as they incorporate pineapple with expertise. Also would recommend ordering one of their cold drinks on a hot summer day. Word of Advice; call in your order for pick up, the line/wait can get quite long if you just walk up.

As a lover of steak burritos and Mexican food I was excited to try out the restaurant and see what they had to offer. When looking at the menu the prices are very reasonable it seemed.....Now I understand Why. I went there with a friend we ordered at the same time. My friends food came out in about 5-7 minutes, 25 minutes later my steak burrito and corn in the cup was ready. To be honest it was not a steak burrito but a lettuce burrito with a tiny amount of steak which I later discovered. When eating the burrito there was an overwhelming taste and amount of lettuce to the point where I had to remove some of the lettuce from the burrito. That is when I discovered that there was a very very very small pieces of steak. By far the worst burrito I have ever had in my life. As much time as it took for the burrito to get prepared I was under the impression that the tortillas were being made from scratch or something..... My friend was finished eating by the time I just got my so called steak burrito which was just a tortilla filled viciously with an enormous amount of lettuce and tiny pieces of steak. If you can imagine biting into a burrito filled with just lettuce that would be the best way to describe the taste. This was my first time leaving a restaurant feeling like I got robbed. 10$ for a tortilla filled with lettuce and a tiny pieces of steak and corn in a cup. Sorry to say but I cannot support any business that robs its customers like that. I would give it NO STARS if it was possible. Whenever you have to go to another restaurant after eating a meal at a restaurant that's when you know you will never be back. Wish you all health, wealth, and peace of mind.
