Beware of this company claiming ownership of your Google My Business listing
A client brought it to our attention that they cannot claim their own Google Business Listing as it has been taken over and held by a company called Search Results Pty Ltd.
Search Results Pty Ltd told our client [a motel] that they own the listing in Google and that the motel would have to pay Search Results Pty Ltd a one off fee of $500+GST to take over ownership.

After Web Noise contacting Google online several other cases came to join the thread with the same ownership issues.
This is no coincidence, a company is Verifying listings and holding the business owner at ransom, the same amount, a one off fee of $500+GST, was requested to take over ownership of the Google business listing
After a couple of months of discussion Google found that Search Results Pty Ltd have done the wrong thing for quite a few businesses and they Google are releasing the ownership from Search Results Pty Ltd.

The option to 'Claim this business' became available and we are now going through the verification to claim ownership on behalf of our client.
It is worth small business owners taking on these scammers and good on #Google for acting on this so quickly.

We have received a request from a business owner to clarify what a landing page is...
A landing page is the first page your visitor arrives at when they come to your website, usually the Home page. To have an effective website that works for you, you need to make sure you design the best landing page possible as this is your first opportunity to convert your website traffic into real customers.

Here is an example of a best practice landing page http://lombokonwaterfall.com.au/
