I just discovered that there may be some confusion over the relationship between my book Fathers and Demons and my recent publication MWFB, Part One: Eagle Ascendant. Eagle Ascendant is not a sequel to Fathers and Demons. It's more like a prequel since F&D is laid at a later time period, when Robbie is about 39 years old. Part One covers his birth to age 31. I pulled F&D out of a later section and published it as a stand-alone novel because I was going to have to cut it from the final books (it's a digression, really) but I thought it was too interesting to leave on cutting room floor. There will be books that fit chronologically after F&D (if I live long enough), but nothing that can be accounted a sequel to F&D per se.
At the time I published F&D, I wasn't sure I was ever going to tackle publishing the whole nine yards of MWFB, but Neil Aplin talked me into it!
Is this clear as mud? Just remember it's fine to read MWFB and ignore F&D. That's what most people have done anyway. F&D has hardly been a bestseller, although somebody just bought a copy a few days ago.

New positive review of The Buried Ship at the End of the World. Thanks, +Marva Dasef
"Excellent ending to the series. Taylor did an amazing job making the termite people real and sympathetic. She has developed a world and an extensive language which is a pretty amazing feat over the seven books (the first six featuring Ki'Shto'ba Huge-Head)."

Third 5-star review on http://amzn.to/2iTNuUd "Boy, Taylor sure can hang a cliff. ... I can hardly wait for the next installment: there is retribution to be done or not, and dangers aplenty still, and further banal bits of life that still are fascinating and, eventually, triumphs. Oh, why do books take so long to write and get published? I want to be with with Robbie now and outward. bound!"

Here is what Neil Aplin posted about my new book at my Facebook Launch Event:
"Just to put this on record, Robbie was an inspired character, brilliantly portrayed ... within a plot that was spell-binding ... and captioned within a book title that was captivating. Just thought someone should state the bleedin' obvious."
