I have dined here a few times and am impressed. i enjoyed a appetizer which had tofu and doctor pepper soda pop flavoring in it ( it sounds gross but it hit the spot!) and enjoyed a drink with fig liquor and vodka called The Perfect Figure. They definitely know their wines and can make delicious and inventive drinks for buddies who don"t drink. The desserts look divine.

The meat there is always cooked to perfection. This is true and nobody should argue with me about it. I love the atmosphere there. The only thing that annoys me- The prices are high, but not very reasonable.

The food was not great...its sold as American but they do not know how to do a medium-rare. They call it "pink in the middle" Anyway...I ordered the "pink in the middle" and it was like rubber...so steak was disappointing. The wine was perfect...a tad overpriced and waitress great.

Good value, nice atmosphere and reasonable pricing. Their steaks are tasty and I prefer them with wine. At home I usually prefer grilled meat, marinated in herbs and oil. I can't deny that the aroma of one grilled piece of meat is irresistible.

I was expecting amazing steak, having read the reviews here. I found the steak was ok, but not great. I ordered a Filet Mignon with Bearnaise sauce medium rare, and got a steak a bit overdone and with Peppercorn sauce instead. Not a great start. The wine - is a rip off. £34 was the cheapest for a HALF bottle! No wonder they don't show their prices on the website... I had a Merlot which was ok, but don't really appreciate paying c. 1000% markup. If you want good steak I would suggest going to Gaucho or a good French restaurant where you will receive much better value and also probably what you actually order! I certainly won't be returning, maybe if they had a 75% discount on TopTable or something, but otherwise I'll be steering well clear.
