We ate at the 25° restaurant before catching a show at the Dolby Theater. I've tried a lot of burgers, some of them really great. But the Number One here is now #1 in my book. The burger is juicy without being soggy, cheesy without being chewy, and has the right amount of crunch with the caramelized onion. The onion rings are also the best I've had anywhere, without the common trait of sliding out of their breading. Definitely hit this place up if you have the opportunity; it does not disappoint.

A Special Hotel. The Roosevelt is steeped in history but it only partially plays to its heritage. They have seven bars and has some of the best drinks in LA. The pool looks like it could be in Pulp Fiction. There's two restaurants that are decent. The hotel rooms range from nice to elegant. If you stay there on the weekend, be sure to stay high up to avoid the obnoxious, dental rattling "music" that doesn't stop until 2AM. Having said that, The Roosevelt is a great location and a good place to stay and mingle.

Great hotel. Came and stayed here about 4 years ago so this review is sort of old but can still talk about my experience. At first my friend and I were just hanging out outside and we saw a few basketball players staying here since it was the off season so we kind of just snook our way to where the pool is and we had a blast, took pictures with people. Jumped in the pool and it was fun, they have a bar by the pool as well. A week later we ended up staying a weekend here and the room was nice a cozy and still had a blast. Its also nice for tourists that want to be close to Hollywood blvd.

Went to the bar in there and I had a pretty good time. It's kinda small, but not in a bad way. The bartenders were friendly, there karaoke people were funny and the drinks aren't overpriced. They also have 2 bowling lanes in there, but who would pay $100 an hour to go bowling?
Response from the owner - in the last week
Sounds like you found the famous Spare Room! The lanes are from the 40's and you play with vintage shoes and balls, different game then you'll find anywhere in town. Cheers for the great review

Historically known for Marilyn Monroe' suite, the hotel rooms are clean, but some are small. Plenty of parking. Swimming pool side bar, lounges. The hotel hosts a number of events throughout the year, including press media. Prices and more details available on their website.
Response from the owner - a week ago
Susan, We are known for Marilyn's suite as well as being a historic property. No two rooms are alike. Some larger then others, some smaller. You'll have to come back and experience a different room. We would love to have you.

Hotel staff was very courteous and professional. I stayed in the cabana suites. The first thing that hits you is the musty smell walking down the hallways. Had my wife been with me, she would have marched right back out. The furniture in the rooms are perplexing, as if made for a small person? The desk, bed and nightstands don't stand more than 10 inches tall... seriously. When walking thru the pool area, a few unsavory characters and a cloud of pot smoke to navigate thru. Location is convenient to walk of fame, etc. but take my advice and stay at a more modern hotel - even if further away.

The Hollywood Roosevelt is one of my favorite places to visit and grab a drink or snacks after a show or event. The architecture and history of the hotel are second to none. The specialty drink menu is terrific, although some of the prices are pretty steep. With the atmosphere and quality of the drinks and food, it does make the experience worth every penny.

The Hollywood Roosevelt hasn't shared anything with you.

People are more likely to share with you if you add them to your circles.
