The intern battle does seem to be heating up a lot. I've noticed increased pressure to find candidates earlier in the year here at our company. rough times as they say....it's hard to guage. yes, the best and brightest will always be sought after by tech companies. but there are other intern gigs available at tech companies, including mine, that are looking for admin and non-engineerig work. Considering finding jobs if you don't have a high tech skill set seems to be tough for recent grads, I would think that interns would be more motivated to look for their employers as well. thanks for pointing the article out.
