Hi guys,

I'm having an issue, and I've searched everywhere for an answer, with no luck.  I'm hoping someone can help me out, and I thank you in advance for your time.

I bought a GameStop brand wired XBox 360 controller, some time ago, in order to play some of my steam games with it.  My initial problem was that the controller wasn't recognized (I know that it works, since it works fine on my XBox 360 system), and it wouldn't recognize friends' controllers which worked on their similar laptops.  The driver offered from the Microsoft website insisted that I didn't have a controller plugged in when I did (the green light in the center lit up once upon plugging it in, then not again until un-plugging, and re-plugging it).  I finally found a driver that recognizes my controller (XBCD).

Now onto my problem.

Ever since then, my controller is recognized, but the button configuration is way off.  The calibration techniques offered on the Microsoft website offered no help, since it wouldn't let me re-allocate my buttons.  I downloaded JoyToKey, but often times it is ineffective, like when the game recognizes my controller, it'll override the JoyToKey input.

I'm running Windows 7 64-bit.  Any other information you need, just ask.  Any help is greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

I'm looking to start a campaign in early January, hopefully.  I've got everything set up, except there is something I wanted to add as an additional bonus to my players.

I would like to set up a page, like a wiki or forum, with all the information in the game.  That includes plot, characters, cities/towns, notable achievements, rumors, etc..  I would like something free and have zero programming skills (though I am willing to pay if I have to).  Here are some of the things I would like to accomplish through the site:

* Player characters can view content at their leisure.

* Each player will have a unique profile.

* Players may access content based on the access level of their profile (which is affected by character knowledge).  For example, Xune, a Drow ranger from the Underdark should have substantially more knowledge of the Underdark than the Lumi barbarian from the Elemental Plane of Energy.  She would therefore have more access to Underdark information than the other character.

* Access would not be interchangeable.  Using the example above, Xune may have full information access to the Underdark, but may have never heard of the Elemental Plane of Energy, which would be reflected in her information access.

There are more things I want to do, but those are the highlights.  If anyone can point me in the right direction, please let me know.  If you are willing to help, get in touch with me and we'll figure something out.  Thank you in advance!
