Grounding and Bonding in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings is one of the most important skills sets needed when performing installations of electrical or telecommunications devices. In order to function properly, devices need to have a grounded return path so voltage potential has a safe exit point. The benefits of grounding and bonding help maximize production times, eliminate shock hazards, and avoid systems failures. The core rules a regulations for grounding and bonding are controlled through the National Electric Code (NEC). The NEC is a regionally adoptable standard for the safe installation of electrical wiring and equipment in the United States. All these concept and industry standards are the backbone of the C-Tech’s Grounding and Bonding Certification Program. In as little as 10 hours students will analyze, troubleshoots, and test systems for optimal performance.
