SOoooooo many people short-change themselves but not opening their minds to the power of what is possible.

I know one thing IS true for me-the more fit I feel, the more confident I feel in my physical ability. The more confident I feel in my physical ability, the more confident I feel overall.

There truly is a mind-body connection and I encourage riders in my boot camps to focus on ALL areas of fitness for the best results.

Get your mind right and the power of possibility becomes reality.

Postural control is a key factor to performing well and preventing injury while in the saddle. The inability to maintain postural control is usually an indication that the rider lacks flexibility or proper stability of the muscles.

In other words, it is not usually a strength issue. How can you tell and what can you do? Have your rider fitness trainer perform a postural assessment that will allow her to design a program to correct muscular imbalances and improve muscular stabilization.

If you are interested in having the Athletic Rider perform a virtual posture assessment for you, check out the link below:

The type of protein your body needs can actually be different depending on the timing of that protein need.

Whey protein is a fast protein (because of the quick rise in plasma amino acids after ingesting) and is best consumed pre- and post-exercise. Casein, on the other hand is a slow protein and is best ingested for longer recover-such as before resting at night.
