I can't see elevation support being backported. I have been having 2 images, one with a drop shadow & one flat. Using the flat on 5 + elevation, and the image with a drop shadow < 5

Does anyone knows a free Exchange email client that can easily be stopped syncing while I am at the office (using location, Wi-Fi, or a Widget)?

Basically, when I am at work, I am close to a computer with Outlook turned on and don't need my phone to ring every X minutes.
But I still need to easily reply, or send email while I am moving.

Any idea warmly welcome.

+Gregory DK but I need this beep outside the office ;-)
... And don't want to waste battery during office hours, a simple toggle widget would be nice.
+Amon RA looks like the first exchange client that is worth the money!!! All other I have tried looked very bad, but this one is definitely what I was looking for! Will definitely give it ten dollars
Thanks

Next steps after this and the Indian lies:
* Create a Maps service.
* Create a @Cyanogen.com email service
* Create a Music service.
* Buy some voice recognition startup and build a personal assistant.
* Rename brand to SamCyanoZon... Or AmaSungMod?

CEO: “Today, Cyanogen has some dependence on Google. Tomorrow, it will not.”

Cyanogen CEO Kirt McMaster explains his vision for a Cyanogen that would be free of any Google dependency. The company plans to open its own app store within 18 months.

+Michael May thank a lot. As this application is limited to a country as small as Belgium, even makes me more proud (I have many other apps available worldwide with more than 100k DL)

So... HTC M9 will keep the horrible black bar at the bottom, and four navigation buttons while the Galaxy S6 will proudly keep the physical home button...
I wonder when I will finally be really excited by a stock experience on a flagship device.
Still hoping some fake leaks.

Common misunderstanding clarified: Android will not kill individual activities http://www.vogella.com/tutorials/AndroidLifeCycle/article.html#activity_lifecycle_dermination

+Dianne Hackborn would be nice to get the official docs updated.
Understanding the Android lifecycle This tutorial describes how the Android application and activity life cycle works.

Looking at smartphone sales numbers, or money earned by the company to draw a conclusion about the product is exactly like saying Justin Bieber is an awesome singer, because he is currently having the biggest number of fans and makes a shitload of money...

M this is my internet speed at home (Wi-Fi)

How would you qualify such speed? I am now used to surf at such speed but I wonder if Belgacom is really so bad...

Welcome in Belgium :-)

Dear #lazyweb
I have a question (not really a question, but rather a philosophic interrogation) regarding domotics, and I think you might help.

I am currently looking to monitor temperatures in multiple rooms in my house. I have analyzed many devices and standards (Z Wave, Zigbee, enocean,... and I think I will finally chose 433Mhz frequencies [0])

I am still wondering why all the modules (except very expensive enocean) are still using batteries.

Isn't there a way to include temperature/humidity sensors in a power plug with voltage adapter (like something in the attached picture?), or obviously the same idea, but with some cable and the sensor at the end, to avoid plug temperature to change the measured value?

I have also been thinking about usb powered sensor (some power outlets have USB output)

Does such a "thing" exists somewhere?

Hello +Alexandre Dubois
Glad to see you here ;-) As I answered by email, solar energy would not be very reliable in my house (old farm with not a lot of windows and light, I am working on it, but I have other priorities, right now)
The only solution would be an AC/DC converter, and then lower the voltage.
I really would like to plug all my sensors on a 220V plug, or on my (boite de dérivation - don't know the English translation) to get a nice and clean solution (batteries are not clean for me, and solar not reliable)

Thanks for your comment
