I have a question (not really a question, but rather a philosophic interrogation) regarding domotics, and I think you might help.
I am currently looking to monitor temperatures in multiple rooms in my house. I have analyzed many devices and standards (Z Wave, Zigbee, enocean,... and I think I will finally chose 433Mhz frequencies )
I am still wondering why all the modules (except very expensive enocean) are still using batteries.
Isn't there a way to include temperature/humidity sensors in a power plug with voltage adapter (like something in the attached picture?), or obviously the same idea, but with some cable and the sensor at the end, to avoid plug temperature to change the measured value?
I have also been thinking about usb powered sensor (some power outlets have USB output)
Does such a "thing" exists somewhere?
