the best coal-over pizza on long island and i'm assuming one of the best in the entire country. they need to start accepting credit cards; it's ridiculous to run a sit-down restaurant on cash-only when you can use a credit card at a vending machine these days.

12/16/13. A Californian here. Best pizza of my life. I've eaten pizza around NYC and Long Island, including Lombardi's. Nothing compares to Salvatore's. Will go every time I'm near Port Washington. Thanks!

hands down the best brick oven pizza in long island. dine in or take home because the food is what people come here for, not the service or the view. you may leave your wife and you'll definitely leave your diet for slices of these made to order pies. eggplant rollatini and salads also are a nice addition while you wait for that pizza to bake
