Are you interested in hearing how a local startup implemented material design? Then join +Alex Koller and find out how he materialized the BitX android app.

Hey designers and developers in Cape Town, come hear a developer (me!) tell designers how to do their job! :D

Tonight I'll be going through how we implemented Material Design in the new +BitX Smart Wallet app.
Dribbble Meetups are a chance for designers to socialise, talk shop, and foster their local design communities. We had a great time at the first ever Cape Town Dribbble meetup in August and are looking forward to seeing you all again in December. We have talented speakers lined up, a Dribbble competition with prizes to be won, Dribbble kits and of course… FREE drinks and pizza. Thanks so much for all of those who attended our meetup last night. We had a great time sharing our experiences and learning about how other developers are using Go. We're excited to grow the Cape Town Go developer community, so let us know what you'd like to see more of!

As promised, the slides for both talks are available.

There's a new Go meetup in town, and the first event is going to be in association with the GDG. Look out for the event invite soon, and be sure to come talk to the Go devs if you are into (or looking into, or curious about) Go. :-)
