We went to Lulav because we had a Groupon. Prior to making our reservations, we were informed that they were expecting a party of thirty and we were warned to come early. So we made reservations for thirty minutes before they expected the large group. When we got there I ordered a house Cabernet wine that was listed on the menu ($7). Together we ordered two entrees (chicken and pork loin). The menu was extremely limited as compared to what was advertised on Lulav's website. Both were "good," but the chicken was a little salty and luke warm. When we got our bill, we were greatly surprised as 20% gratuity was added for the sub par service we received as I never got asked if I wanted more water or another glass of wine. And my fiancé 's tea was never refilled. Also, the house Cabernet wine was $2 more than listed on the menu. We questioned our server about the extra gratuity charge, as it is not stated in the Groupon's fine print. He said that "all living socials and Groupon's have an additional 20% gratuity charge regardless." I uploaded the Groupon on my iPhone and could not find this alleged charge. The waiter hastily then asked "Well, what do you guys want to do??!" We would not hesitate to pay gratuity if had not been ignored. I guess that's something the restaurant has to charge to increase the revenue even though the service is poor! We are saddened to see that this place is not as honest or nice as it was a year ago upon our first visit.

Best wine tastings in town (Wednesdays). Excellent dinners. Never went to a party there that I didn't like.

Food mediocre. Service slow. No greeting when we entered. Had to ask to be seated. Filet mignon lacking flavor and not tender. Pork tenderloin very good. Served with risotto which could have been creamier.

horrible service , waited almost an hour for the food , i guess not being white , no acknowledgment from the server , the owner went around greeting every white table , horrible and terrible service even though the food was over priced and average taste. would rather prefer graffiti or brave new restaurant over it anytime , save your precious time and money ....

My stepmother and grandmother decided to host my bridesmaids luncheon here. It was a total embarrassment for them. 1) We requested that one portion be prepared specially for a kosher guest. Considering that Lulav's symbol is a Hebrew letter, we didn't think that this would be difficult. Instead, they gave her each ingredient of the pasta separately (chicken, pasta, cheese, vegetables, sauce) and the guest basically had to put together her own meal. They could have just left out the chicken and given her a regular meal! 2) No one ever came around to give us refills. Not for water, and not for wine. My stepmother had to run around and pour everyone drinks every few minutes. 3) A member of the restaurant staff came into the private room and began sweeping the floor while we were eating dessert. Ruined the mood and was unsanitary. The food was ok, but the service was so bad. My poor stepmother was really embarrassed. Luckily, I shared the day with a great group of women, and found the experience to be pleasant just for that reason. On a side note, why does the menu list Euros on the price list? Do they accept Euros, or are they just trying to be pretentious? No one in Little Rock would pay in Euros, so I'm guessing the latter.

Try the Garides Saganaki appetizer, which is roasted shrimp with potatoes that are flamed at your table. I ordered the lamb and loved it. My date ordered steak. It looked fabulous so I tried a bite. It tasted as good as it looked. Service is perfect, as can be expected at fine dining restaurants.
