I joined after Club Sport went under. I understood that this is a "bare bones" type of club. What can you expect for $10 a month? I'll tell you what I expect. A safe environment. The first time I was there I noticed all the incline weight benches (SIX) were unsafe. They wobble and shake to the touch. Anyone who has lifted weights can tell you that the last thing you need when you lift weights is an unsteady base. I reported this to the manager who walked over and shook a few of the benches and told me he would "take care of it". A month later-no change. I spoke to the manager again. He acted as if it was the first time he had heard the complaint. He shook the benches (again) and immediately got on his cell phone. I guess he was making an "emergency call" to the president of Planet Fitness. Needless to say nothing has changed. This place makes a point of having a spray bottle of disinfectant every ten feet to encourage you to clean these very benches. I'm sure when one of these benches collapses or someone falls off of them while lifting and it shifts under them, the injured party will feel much better knowing that the bench lying in pieces next to them is completely germ free. They have signs posted all over the gym saying," NO JUDGEMENT". How about adding" NO SAFETY."

I have to say, 10 dollars a month doesn't buy you much. I'm not looking for a boyfriend, so I thought the no judgement environment of PF would be a good idea. However, it's hard to get in a good workout when there is no good equipment. Simple things like medicine balls, barbells and kettlebells don't even exist here. Many of the equipment is breaking. I also had someone on the staff come bug me because APPARENTLY I was working out too hard and dropped a small weight. Seriously? It's 20 pounds. Keep your 10 dollars a month and your garbage equipment. I would rather just work out at home with my own equipment and not have your staff tell me I'm working out too hard.

Great environment, extremely comfortable. Basic machines for working out, but in a friendly environment, lots of TVs and up to date equipment.

I've would give it more stars, but took off stars for the following: CRAPPY Hours -- Early Close-up on FRIDAY, SAT and SUNDAY Ugliest Ghetto Color-Scheme (Purple and Yellow) Stupid signs like "NO JUDGMENT ZONE" (as if people normally run around judging each other). CHEAP Equipment and lack of Hammer Lat Pull-down-reverse Really Cheap dip-pull-up combo machine --- piece of crap General lack of full range of normal workout (weighted) equipment.

love the staff! they're all friendly and professional. The only down side is that they dont have extra things to give your workouts variety. For example: ankle straps for glute workouts, ab balls, decent ab mats/space, and saddest is... NO stair master. You pay low prices for a basic workout. Def not a gym for esthetic goals- just basic fitness.

Planet Fitness has a terrible cancellation policy: You must go down there in person or SEND A LETTER stating you want to terminate your membership. They will not allow you to cancel your membership over the phone or online. It's 2013, who sends letters anymore?!!! I find this policy unacceptable and will not recommend PF to anyone I know.
