I ordered a take out dinner and when I picked the order up I gave my credit card to pay. I added a 15% tip, and not 20% since it was a to go order. This seemed appropriate. The next month when doing my statement I noticed a man named Robert T added $5 to the tip. I tried reaching them on several occasions and they would never respond to my messages. I could not just pop in since I live in a different state and was just visiting. I think this is a really crappy and unethical thing to do to a customer! Apparently, its not considered fraud because I gave him the card to pay for the dinner, but still very wrong! I don't believe this was the first or last time Robert from Blue Fin Sushi in Denver will do this. So be cautious! To top it all off, they didn't even get my order right!

It's a clean & cozy neighborhood restaurant, they have decent food for being so far inland. The service was nothing special and it was a bit pricey for us.

This is a cozy little neighborhood sushi Joint. My wife and I have been to several well rated sushi restaurants and in our opinion this is by far the best. Our favorite is their shrimp tempura roll, it simply isn't matched anywhere else. Some of the reviewers had negative things to say about Blue Fin. For example, Patrick Sperling said "Let me start with the atmosphere... It sucked. It feels crammed and condensed." Well Patrick, we hope you find something more suitable. Frankly, the fewer people at Blue Fin, the more space we'll have in our "suckie condensed" sushi restaurant. All in all, we love it.

We live in the neighborhood and frequent Blue Fin often. We think the sushi is always great as well as the kids bento boxes. My kids always ask to go here because they also love their salad and they dont usually even eat salad. The dressing is fabulous! Sometimes the service is slow and they could use a few more servers but the owner is always there working hard. I would definitely recommend this place, even to sushi snobs.

As others have noted, the service is quite marginal. Took too long to get drinks out (had to re-ask). Sushi itself was ok, but nothing special. I didn't get sick or anything, so that's always a plus! Went there on a Groupon...and well...there is a reason why the restaurants on Groupon are on Groupon. I definitely wouldn't recommend it without a Groupon and would be hesitant to even recommend with one.

The food and service sucked. The rice was falling apart and the fish didn't seem very fresh. Our waitress looked super stoned or bombed out on pills and would disappear for long stretches of time. She somehow managed to spill sake on my friend when she set the box down and when she took it away...
