I didn't see this here yet, and it's been going around the office. Didn't we used to have a humor/jokes category here, or am I thinking of elsewhere?

Absolutely disgusting.
Barbie wants to be a computer engineer, but she can only design games—boys have to develop them.

Nice

Gaming performance should increase soon, for all Linux-based systems.
Intel users should see a major improvement with their hardware after a group of developers from LunarG found out that there was a bottleneck in the DRM driver.

Virtualization  -

So, I find myself needing to migrate a bunch of KVM based VM's with qcow2 disk images over to vmware. Anyone have experience/luck doing this? I tried qemu-img to convert one vm as a test to a vmdk, but it had issues, e2fsck failed. I'm wondering if there's another way? Is there a vmware tool I should be using?

+Federico Fortini I don't necessarily want to. I'm leaving the university and all the other departments use VMware, do so I'm being nice to whomever takes over. They can just add my hosts to their vcenter and be done.

I'm currently just using KVM and libvirt on Ubuntu. Using virsh and virt-manager to manage things. I never used ovirt because java. And it's a university, so spending money on rhev wasn't going to fly. But done how we have a site wide license for VMware basic stuff. Oh well, won't be my problem much longer.
