What can I say? I have given this place *3 years* of trying to get their orders right, and they haven't been able to get it right. If you offer your customers a vegan option, you DAMN WELL BETTER MAKE SURE IT'S VEGAN. 3 (or more) mistakes, will never eat here again. This isn't just vegan, what if your customers said Kosher? Or had allergies? Do you just throw nuts on an order to someone deathy ill of nuts? I don't want to be "that" guy, but seriously... How hard is it to train your employees to check the order to make sure it's vegan, and that they don't add chicken mistakenly to vegan or dairy to orders? If you can't train your employees to do this, then you just shouldn't offer vegan options or claim to offer them. Lame. I wanted this chain to succeed, because it's Oregon local, and the food, when made right, was good.

Extremely overrated! Besides the point of getting our order wrong, the beans were undercooked (all 10 of them), more than half the bowl consisted of rice, and if extra avocado means two thin slices total- then they should change it to "extra avocado slice". Just because you offer "gluten free" and "vegan" options doesn't mean you can serve beans and rice and call it good. Horrible. Would never order from here again. Wish I had my $30 back.

I'm of two minds on Cafe Yumm. On one hand, I like having a relatively nourishing option available by the mall. It tends to be quick, everyone can usually find something they want, and the food is simple. On the other hand... Nothing seems particularly well-considered. The bowl with edamame and seaweed is still topped with canned olives and cheddar cheese. The dishes are DROWNING in their trademark Yumm Sauce, and even though they sell giant bottles of Chipotle and Roasted Garlic sauce at the register, you can only get the original kind on your food. (This seems so weird to me. Do other restaurant chains usually retail foods they don't serve?) This particular location can also be a touch disorganized at times and the tables aren't always wiped down.

Food is always good. Staff is always friendly. Best to call-in the order ahead of time during lunch hours. A great option whenever you want a quick, tasty vegetarian meal and you're in downtown.

Friendly staff and the food was good. If you have never tried Yumm Sauce you are missing out. I would go again.

I love the Yumm Bowls and the Yumm sauce is amazing. I would give this 4 1/2 stars if I could and the only thing keeping me from giving it a full five is that the downtown location wasn't very clean the last couple times I've been there.

It's stuff any first year college student knows how to make in their dorm room.
