Getting ready for our performances in Mallorca next week - one of the programmes will be inspired by Chopin and George Sand and the time they spent on the island - Victorian evening dress for that evening!

We returned to the magnificent Goldsmiths' Hall in London this week for a highlight performance from Mozart's 'The Magic Flute' in costume linked with a dinner - the hall has a wonderful acoustic and atmosphere!

Excited to be returning to the Church Stretton Festival on Sunday, 14th August for the final concert of the Festival - with highlights from Puccini's 'Madame Butterfly' starring Mary Plazas (who sang Butterfly with English National Opera) in the title role!

It was a pleasure to perform at Boodle's Club in St James's last night in the beautiful state room,  which was a new venue to us.  Here's an image from the early 19th century!

London Festival Opera returned to Crow's Hall for another 'Opera in the Barn' - this year for a highlight performance of Rossini's 'The Barber of Seville'.  Despite torrential rain outside, and dramatic thunder (at appropriate moments for the drama!), the audience and cast were snug and dry inside the barn!

Puccini set Act 1 of 'Tosca' in Rome in the Sant' Andrea della Valle - we had the thrill of performing a 'Sacred Concert' in this historic setting last week!
