Fun way to spend the last week. After endless component stories, finally I get to do some gaming.

We've been playing with Nvidia's Shield handheld for more than a month, but only recently got access to its killer feature: streaming PC game content. Does Nvidia's foray into the hardware world deserve your $300, or is this expensive toy impractical?

I keep looking over my shoulder at three Titans in a stack, wondering: "What should I do with them?"

The Piledriver-based FX on our test bench. Air-cooled overclock up to 5.125 GHz, too!
As someone who reviews computer hardware, the challenges facing a business matter a lot less to me than the products it sells. We can all agree that the last year was pretty awful for AMD’s processor...

Miss those days when they kicked Intel's ass... now its so so hard to imagine them catching up... I like Intel, but competition would be lovely!

If only because I spent a week staying up till the sun came up working on this... 1.5 TB worth of videos analyzed, eight games benchmarked using FCAT, and a group of Bakersfield gamers in a Pepsi Challenge between Radeon HD 7990 and GeForce GTX 690 to give us their preferences.

I've been a customer of Fluxar's for more than a decade. Though the scope of my business is small, the company doesn't let that affect the speed with which it addresses my questions and technical issues when they arise. They're quick to respond and effective with solutions. Fluxar comes highly recommended.

Was told there would be zero wait to get my car smogged, and that the process would take 15 minutes. Thirty minutes later, it had still not been touched. The car was finished after a one-hour wait, only 10 minutes of which actually involved Blue Ribbon working on it. 10 minutes for $60--not a bad business to be in. I'll be trying another shop on Schirra next time I need work done, though.
