Okay, once the temperature goes below freezing during the day, it's officially too cold. Winter is here.

If any of you were wondering whatever happened to the game I was hired to write for, well, that fell through. It was nothing I did. We lost some key members of the team, couldn't replace them, and the whole thing folded. It's all good, though. It was a learning experience for all of us.

An interesting event is happening tonight. For the sake of exploring Hebrew roots, my old church's Bible study will usher in the first night of Hanukah this evening in the traditional Rabbinic manner, menorah and all. But it does make me a little sad they're using the Rabbinic calendar. On the Biblical calendar Hanukah doesn't start until Thursday sundown. I suppose it doesn't matter all that much with Hanukah, as it's not a Mosaic feast. It was never commanded by God.

At first this week I was worried about potential The Last Jedi spoilers on one of my networks. But you know what? I really don't care. Perhaps surprisingly, I'm not even all that excited about the film. In fact, I almost dread watching it. I fear what it's going to do with Luke and the Force.
