A lovely little pub with good music (at a good volume to listen or chat over), good pints and a good crowd. Its a fairly small for a pub but always a good atmosphere and packs up quick. Great as a pre-night out drink out or general chat. Ive not even had a chance to see the free comedy shows yet but been at the bar a number of times and its become one of my favourite pubs of the big smoke.

Best place to hang out in Dublin. Unpretentious, good tunes, great people, friendly staff. And if you're not feeling it one night, there's always something different going on upstairs.

One of the best bars in the city. A nice relaxed atmosphere, great music and staff and a quality pint of guinness. As with nearly all the best pubs it's jammed on weekends but great for a midweek pint.

Had my first pint of Irish Guinness here based upon recommendations of multiple sources, and it did not disappoint. The bartender was really friendly, the atmosphere was cozy, and I made friends with everyone around me. It was a great first experience in Ireland and I'll definitely be back again tonight!

Savage spot only reason it's not 5 is I'd love to see the Guinness tap exchanged for another porter or stout, brave move but this place is so cool they could get away with it

A lovely little bar with an even smaller live music venue upstairs, which used to be the landlord's residence. If you fancy seeing a gig in somebody's living room, but with the benefit of a busy bar just downstairs, this is the place to go.
