Low-key Italian place for family dining, with an open kitchen preparing pastas, soups & entrees.- Google
People talk about tilapia with tomato dill sauce, grilled vegetable lasagna, chicken breast sliced, barbecue chicken pizza and spaghetti with meatballs

Yuck! You'd be better off going to the grocery store and buying a frozen entrée. It'll probably be better and cheaper!!! Had the eggplant parmigan; soggy cardboard!

Ok, so here it is, Zio's was a big disappointment. Not only did the food not taste good and was over priced for what it was, but to top it all off it upset my iron clad stomach. I can eat pretty much anything, but apparently not the food at Zio's. Also, I never felt the need to write a review due to I view it as a waste of my own time. So if you can understand what I'm trying to relay to you all in this review it would be stay away from this place. Sorry Zio's for the bad review, but your food currently is a disgrace to Italian food dinning.

The décor, a little cartoonish. The open kitchen, active without the single overpowering aromas of some. The Staff, friendly and attentive. The food was well prepared; however, the downside of Zio’s is their formula to control costs is to spend as little as possible on the ingredients. If you are going to place Olive Oil on every table it should be a good quality unadulterated First Cold Pressed Oil. The olio-canola blend was tasteless and only suitable for lubricating door hinges. The dipping plate was packed with a wad of ground pomace that looked like il portacenere. The tomatoes from the typical provisioners are colorless and mealy this time of year. The homemade Italian dressing was different, like the Italian steakhouse style and something adventurous home cooks might whip up. Nice. Find a better loaf of bread and a convection oven that will yield that sought after crisp on the outside, suave yet substantial on the inside results. Would it break the bank to come to the table and turn a crank operated grater with a chunk of Grana Padana aboard? And, just how can such a well stocked beverage service not have any Quinine Tonic Water? The by the bottle house Merlot has a nose so green and a finish so sharp along the edges it would not make it into the Target Cube as value wine. A bulk version of the ‘Little Blackbird’ is not a friendly choice for pasta. Find a good Montepulciano D’Abruzzo for the house red (also, I know of a great domestic Barbera) and Trebbiano for the white. Chilled San Pellegrino acqua frizzante was excellent. After dinner if there is no espresso, then how can you call yourself an Italian restaurant. The exterior decor and patio is actually more inviting than the indoor ambient and would be my choice during the warmer months. ~ Christiano Polesellano, Mistero Aficionado

A friend took me today (July 30) for a birthday lunch. The waitress was very efficient and so friendly, polite and sweet! Had lasagna which was delicious! I love the atmosphere...wonderful soothing music (not too loud) and wonderful Old Italian décor. Just read some of the other reviews. My friend & her sons come here frequently & love the food, prices, atmosphere and efficient service. I can see why. We were greeted at the door. We had silverware, drinks and bread served immediately and the food was served in a timely manner! I had the best lasagna ever and delicious soup I can't pronounce. The prices beat out Olive Garden. The only thing Olive Garden wins out on, and my friend agrees, is the bread sticks. I will go back!!

I absolutely love Zio's! The food is wonderful and the service is amazing. The outdoor seating is absolutely lovely. My husband and I go here almost every time we go out. We never get tired of it!

Wasn't greeted when we walked in, almost seated ourselves. Drinks took 20 minutes. Food took 45 minutes at which time I asked for boxes and spoke to the manager. Manager didn't take a single penny off the bill. To top it all off, after I got home I discovered that they got my order wrong. Never again!
