I landed in Sacramento, CA, so that makes me officially homesick for my hometown's white Christmases and summer showers. But it's still interesting after all this time to see citrus fruit growing on trees, not just finding them in the supermarket produce section of the grocery store, and to learn about foods I never heard of--and get addicted to eating them. Can you say chile relleno? If you must leave your hometown, it's a great city to adopt, and a beautiful state, as well, and much to love and appreciate.
