I visited here once before and the staff and Drs were amazing. They took their time and helped me. This time the receptionists/nurse were amazing but the Dr was horrible. She walked in and handed me a prescription before even looking/talking to me. She did listen to my chest but didn't tell me what was going on. I had to follow her out of the room and into the hall to ask her questions. Even then I didn't get a full answer. I had to go to another clinic and pay for someone else to see me.

They forgot I was in the room. Once I demanded my refund for my co-pay the supervisor Karen (that was super sweet) have me my TB shot that only took 2 minutes. The service sucked but Karen was great. However, I dread returning to get it read in 48 hrs

Generally terrible. Last visit, the doctor wrote a prescription that i later found out was dated incorrectly, went in to ask for a specific fix, waited 30 minutes. Printed a new one, walked outside and looked at it only to realize they literally changed nothing. Had to go back inside and wait for them to fix their mistake [again]. Waited 45 minutes the second time. While this incident is not the only time they've failed me {as it typically consecutive} this example speaks to their overall lack of efficiency and general disregard for patient's convenience, ease, and most importantly, need. They never answer their phones to schedule appointments. They urge us to use the online system. Last time I did that, I called to complain about lack of availability and the scheduler said "oh, no that's not right at all, there's an opening on blank" Finally, i gave it two stars because once i'm actually being seen by the doctors, they are very nice and helpful, Dr. Yang specifically. He's a wonderful doctor. The nurses are really very friendly as well. It's honestly just the medical staff who are sub par, and truly do not care if they are sub par due to the number of patients, lack of impact to their pay. It's a shame there's no incentive to be better. I'm sure there are others above the staff to partially blame for this (GW) but yes, I would not recommend this location. GW needs to get it together.

I am torn on how many stars to give, because this office is great for immediate care issues. Both my husband and I have been seen for a variety of issues and been pleased with the service. I would rate them 4-5 stars for the immediate care services. However, my primary care experiences have been terrible, and I would give them 1-2 stars. I think the primary care doctors are spread too thin working at several locations and I don't feel they are capable of giving me any sort of follow up or customer service that I would like from a primary care provider. I have outlined some of my concerns below. 1. The appointment system. Their website encourages you to use the online booking system, which I did. However, when I showed up at the NoMA office, I was told that my appointment was scheduled in Cleveland Park. I had received 3 email and 2 text messages stating my appointment was in NoMA, and the woman at the front desk was quite rude and dismissive, like I somehow had made the mistake despite all the messages indicating I had an appointment at their office. I had to wait another 3 weeks to be seen for primary care after they screwed up my appointment. 2. Wait times. When I returned, I waited over an hour to be seen. I have waited less almost every time I have shown up with no appointment. It was a compete mess. In total, I was at the office for over 3 hours for this appointment. 3. Follow up. On at least 3 occasions, doctors have run bloodwork at my visits and NOT ONCE has anyone ever called me with results. I'm pretty sure I have had at least one strep test they never called me about either. 4. The doctors. The one good thing I can say is that the doctors seem good. Dr. Yang took time to discuss things with me and generally seems to care. However, he left to see another patient who had likely also been waiting for an hour, and never told me a plan for the issue I was being seen for. The support staff kept trying to dismiss me, and I had to wait another 45 minutes to hear back.

I had a quick and awesome experience. The office was very clean and played surprisingly good music. The staff was very professional, Dr. I-Chin Lee was very knowledgeable and skilled with her hands. She was extra nice, and I didn't have to wait long at all. I definitely recommend this place to everyone. The only thing is they were not offering any radiographic capabilities, but I think the sign said they would in the near future.

Apparently management now believes it MUST overbook their patients. When this office first opened it was very organized and the people at the front desk were friendly. But in 2016 those good days are over! When going to this office expect wait times at a minimum of 2 hours after your appointment time. But the funny part is when you're either late or not able to cancel your appointment min 24 hours before the appointment they will seek a payment of $25. Funny how when the customer makes a mistake they are penalized, but when they have implemented a business practice that is extremely unfair to customers its considered the customers loss. The best part about this issue is they are NOT the only game in town. Plenty of doctors offices around the city have normal business practices that DO NOT inconvenience their patients! We must all work together to put this place out of business!!!!! TERRIBLE DOCTORS OFFICE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would never go back here again!

The visit is great but I never got the results from my blood test and when you call no one is ever helpful. This is great for urgent care or an immediate concern but I would not recommend as a primary care office. The staff is nice but you can never reach someone by phone and the waits are ridiculously long even when very few people are waiting.

I went to Metro Immediate Care back in December 2015 for a strep throat. I was not given any antibiotics at the time. Instead, they did a quick throat swab, which would take 5 days to get results, and sent me on my way. The sore throat went away after a week of over the counter drugs. Then I received a call an additional week later (this is two weeks after I visited the office on L Street) saying that I indeed did have strep throat and needed to begin antibiotics. I reluctantly agreed, they called the prescription into CVS on H Street, and I finished out the prescription. Fast forward 8 months later, and today I receive a phone call from a debt collector saying this office has been sending me notices for an unpaid medical bill. What?! They had the correct address and claimed to have sent 3 separate notices to me in the past 3 months. I check all of my mail, always. This office did not send anything to my address and never tried to call or email. Unorganized, unmotivated, unprofessional. Don't go here.
