Insurance companies are not doing enough! This is when we all must come together and show that Together we are STRONG - http://sandystories.org/
The aftermath of Hurricane Sandy is a devastatingly tragic scene. Numerous fatalities have been reported. Coastal property damage is tremendous. Homes have been completely demolished leaving families in despair, worried, and scattered in various shelter facilities. Countless numbers of men, women, children, and animals, throughout the Mid Atlantic Region and Eastern United States have been affected. The amazing thing about America is the way our people join together to support our neighbors in times of disaster. Sandyrelief.org is the official Page of The Hurricane Sandy Relief Foundation (“HSRF”). The HSRF was established to raise awareness, organize volunteer service efforts, and extend relief to Sandy victims. All of our donations go towards food, clothing, supplies, aid in rescue and clean up efforts, and the future rebuilding of communities and lives destroyed by Hurricane Sandy.

The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of sandyrelief.org. Its mission is to foster charitable giving to the victims of Hurricane Sandy. The ultimate goal of these efforts is to extend relief and improve the quality of life for the affected families and communities. The Foundation partners with its donors, support groups and volunteers, join together in an effort to raise awareness and offer help and hope to victims of Hurricane Sandy. Our Story
The Hurricane Sandy Relief Foundation was founded October 30, 2012 by the victims for the victims.
With widespread power outages and no heat the the Hurricane Sandy Relief Foundation worked tirelessly through the heart of the storm off a generator to build a website that would inform our fellow victims of local shelters and immediate relief. Many of our friends, neighbors and relatives were devastated by the loss of homes, vehicles, clothes and food. We decided to take it upon ourselves to bring attention to our neighbors in need of immediate relief. With no funding, and limited resources we started our journey to raise donations to bring necessary supplies to local shelters, restore power, clean up debris, and rebuild communities. Thanks to our local board of directors we were able to secure enough funds to begin to make a difference. We are now receiving donations from across the country and thank all of you for your continued support. With an anticipated of 6-8 year recovery and 2 year clean up this is certainly not going to be a sprint it will be a marathon. “Together We Are STRONG”.Contact
