Very displeased with K&D's customer service. I ordered over $200- of wine on December 12th, with an order confirmation immediately sent to my e-mail. After two weeks of not receiving the wine or being contacted at all, I had to proactively go back to K&D and ask where my wine was. I was shortly told that the wine I ordered was not carried, and that they made an oversight by not contacting me, blaming it on high order volume. I will certainly not use K&D Wines for any of my future wine and liquor purchases. I was hoping to provide some wine to oenophile colleagues of mine for Christmas, and K&D flatly let me down, with extremely poor customer service to boot.

The positive reviews below must be written by people that work here. The staff is the most uninterested, insipid, uninspiring group of characters you will ever see. Walk in and notice how all employees avoid eye contact wnd spend all their time typing on computers. Getting help here is impossible and I've noticed this many times. K&D close to the public and be anexclusive internet based store...or they can hire robots to interact with customers. Walk a few blocks east to other more interested customer - oriented wine stores. if you can

Went there the other day and was pleasantly surprised to find a great selection of wines and a staff that knew about them. When I asked about what varietals where in a wine I was interested the clerk knew right off the top of his head, and he was right it was fantastic. I picked out a great mixed case with the very helpful staff, then got free delivery downtown! Even know it's out of my neighborhood, this is my new wine shop. With a selection and staff like that, plus FREE delivery how could you go wrong? Bob and Samantha are way off. Besides I met Richie, and no one named Neil even works there.

I just did my holiday shopping at K&D Wines and was more than happy with both the prices and the service. The manager, Tim, assisted me with my purchase. He was extremely knowledgeable about wine! I told him my budget and what my family members' likes and dislikes are surrounding wine, then he help me put together a case that was well within my budget and will make the people on my list happy. I only wish I was drinking this case instead of gifting it out- I will definitely be back to stock up for myself after the holiday!

I went to KandD upon advice of a friend. When I was looking at wines I had a set price point in mind and knew more or less what I was searching for, but the salesman Neil kept pressuring me to buy something that was "much better" and more expensive. I yielded taking the advice of a "professional" and bought two bottles of the recommended bordeaux. When I tried it, it was beyond awful and even tasted like it was turning sour. When I tried to return the unopened bottle, or at least exchange it, Neil was most unhelpful saying that the store cannot be held responsible for my wine choice, a choice that was made by Neil three days prior. After arguing over the bottle of wine, the owner, Richard, came out of the back with an attitude and even after I explained the situation, he refused to help me. When I asked merely for an exchange, it was like I was asking for his first born kid, he turned red and threatened to have me arrested if I didn't leave the store. Thankfully American Express was on my side and reversed the charge for the vinegar KandD tried to sell me. I always like to help the small business even if it means paying a bit more, but these are greedy and dishonerable people to deal with. I will never go back again, and I will tell everyone I know on the east side what a terrible business they run.

Friendly staff. Gave me some great gift suggestions, they even offered to gift wrap. Reasonable prices. I will definitely go back.
