Warning to gluten intolerant folks and celiacs! I usually love Pi, and I've eaten at every location since I found out about my gluten intolerance and not had an issue... Until today. I went there for lunch with my colleagues, and not only did I have the worst service I've ever had at ANY restaurant, but I got gluten contamination - the worst I have ever experienced. I'm not being dramatic; I'm pretty easy to please. Just don't get me sick and I'm usually pretty happy. But our waiter took a ridiculously long time bringing our order, and hadn't written down one of our pizzas. So we waited for a very long time, ate our belated pizza, and waited for the guy to appear again, which was at least a half hour. We were there two full hours and very late getting back to work. Then I realized that I was served gluten, despite me telling him I was gluten intolerant and requesting a gluten free pizza. It must have been a regular wheat crust, because I haven't felt this sick in a long time. I will not return to this location, and I may never return to any Pi restaurant again.

We're from Phoenix and got the cornmeal pizza. OMG. You better get ready. It's worth the trip.

My first visit to Pi on the Loop and I'm a fan! I ordered the South Side Classico on thin crust and it was fabulous. The thin crust is really tasty. I'm not a fan of most chain pizza places but Pi is not crappy chain pizza. Pi is to pizza as Ruth Chris is to steak. YUM! Service was great, staff was friendly and attentive.

My wife and I stopped in before the "They Might Be Giants" show. Had spicy pickles, olives, sangria, and the Chef's special thin-crust Cubano pizza. Everything was great.

Staff is very very nice, the place is cramped and very noisy. Pizza was good, but disappointing if you're used to real Chicago style deep-dish, and ours was waaay too garlicky.

best pizza in st. louis hands down. i am from chicago, lived in st louis for 4 years. i will miss it. the corn meal crust is a little different. kind of similar to gino's east but in my opinion better. specialty pizzas are good. craft beer selection is typically very good. the loop and central west end locations both have good service and ambiance.
