I think there is more to the permacrete vs concussive platform plating (CPP) discussion. While the numbers may crunch as the good BP Professor explains, he is looking at a limited number of variables. What weapon and specials are on that platform? Drac Scatter? Basilisk? If so, then Hydroxide Barrels for sure. But if you add Pinch protection because you expect a rocket incoming occasionally, you can't get a third permacrete on a level 7 platform equipped with an A transformer.

At that point, perhaps the CPP becomes the better choice. And all the more so for players that only have their platforms to.level 5 or 6. A level 5 platform won't even take a pernacrete. I don't have a level 6 platform to check, but I expect it will. But for a lower level that has gotten the Basiisk and put it on his level 5 turret, CPP is the only reasonable protection available.

Yes, I know to be really effective a basilisk needs to be on level 7 platform, with all the bells and whistles. But progress in the is game is incremental.

When will the give us a shot at winning the 98-U launcher again? Since it is essential to protect a base from Revenge if you don't have the Scatter Gun turret, seems like a very good time to be a high priced Raid item.

And nothing should keep them from offering the Scatter Gun as well - with both of those - bases would not be a click at the back target as most are now. I know because I'm walking through bases I could never touch before with 2 Revenge and HLNC.

So I am a bit puzzled. Your description really takes off on Steak Number 3 (fish sauce) which you note is your daughter's favorite. But down in your findings you select Steak Number 2 (dry brine) as the best of the group. So it was better due to the moisture?

Interesting but for those players without a fleet of Tigers replete with scatter guns to greet the attackers, is the third part even feasible?  I finished parts 1 and 2 using Punishers, Mastodons, and Rhino.  I had the new Glacial turret positioned to maximize my advantage.  Even with that - the last attack in part 2 was something I barely survived.

I see no way to survive the last part for the mastery prize even with Punishers and Rhino.
