Will Serrano: In San Antonio, TX in 2007 somebody threw a bottle of water directly on stage as the curtains were lifting and it almost hit Chester. LP was touring to support "Minutes to Midnight," and I was in the pit so scared it would hit him and throw him and the band off. He didn't flinch, and delivered vocals and a performance I'll never forget. Heartbroken for the loss to his friends and family, the fans, and band members.

Ivette Vazquez: es muy triste su partida por que hace años sigo su trayectoria y aunque se que fue una persona que tuvo situaciones complicadas; admiraba como había salido adelante. pero, no se puede tapar el Sol con un dedo. esas experiencias dejan heridas profundas y aunque uno disimule o hasta llegemos a creer que las sobrellevamos están ahí. solo basta un detonante para destruir el camino ya recorrido. siento lástima por sus seres queridos porque jamás es fácil perder a alguien. el dolor disminuirá pero la nostalgia y melancolía siempre estarán ahí. desde niña siempre quise conocerlos en persona en fin el grupo entero; qué pena que ese sueño no lo podré realizar. por que aunque algún día los llegue a ver faltará ese vocalista que me ponía a rockear con su tono de voz. se nos fue otra alma a causa de la tristeza y la desesperación y los que quedamos no prendemos. dejemos ya el maltrato, el bullying, el egoísmo, el pensar que solo uno vale y los demás no. por favor que si vamos a morir sea por un accidente, enfermedad o causa natural, que ya no se sigan quitando la vida almas que tenían todavía mucho que ofrecer. dejemos el miedo y aferemosnos a la vida por que siempre hay una salida; solo debemos ser valientes y no sentirnos cómodos en el pánico.

Esta canción lanzó a Linkin park a la fama , un dia de verano en 1998 escuche esta canción y quedé encantada con el sonido nuevo, la fusión de estilos y nacionalidades que le daba al metal otro color sin dejar de lado fuerza y esencia del rock el mas llamó mi atención fue su vocalista Chester Benniton porque no tenia el aspecto del típico metalero pero si la fuerza interpretativa que me impresionó también que la mitad del grupo fuera Japones... Así es que llegó a ser una de las bandas amadas ❤ que sigo hasta hoy, desde ese día de verano ... Chester nunca seras olvidado ❤️😰

Rest in peace Chester, why didn't we realise. We were so ignorant. People were giving you hate and disliking you for heading in the pop direction but then he releases a song that is obviously a cry for help, a serious red flag but we did nothing more than ignore it. Or worse: hate it. I though that Heavy seemed quite out of character and I knew that you were maybe going though a dark phase but I didn't expect it so go this far. Rest in peace. My god, please you have been such an inspiration and have helped me through some very, very hard times. Thank you for the music

Lukáš S.: +Jerry Ala Exactly my words. It was amazing live, when Mike did all the rapping and Brad added some harder guitars, but the album version is the weakest OML song.

Kevin J. Kindel (Ralphie): +DSkehan2004 Linkin Park tends to mix it up every time they release a new album. So if you're only listening to their old music. Then you won't like this. It sounds more like the music you hear on the radio today.

Lukáš S.: +DSkehan2004 Those are mostly the "fans" stuck in the early 2000's who still consider LP a metal band. One More Light is really different from anything they've created so far, but it's not bad by any means - it's really mature and heartfelt. You should probably listen and make your own opinion.
