Here are some things that I have 3D printed on my Robo 3D. Still figuring out the settings, but it turns out I really don't like the smell of ABS. More details in captions.

Designed some footstools for Adirondack chairs. Mocked them up in Creo and did the construction. I built the Adirondacks a while ago, but those were based on a Norm Abram design. All of them are made with pine 1x6's cut into 1x3's and 1x4's. The chairs are old enough that they started to get dry rot despite the paint coating, so we painted them again when we painted the stools.

I stayed up late to take some timelapse of the Lunar Eclipse. Some of the auto-awesome'd ones came out nice.

No particular reason for posting, but I decided to try out a new tripod and camera on some electronics components I had to tinker with photography settings. A lot of them are taken at very long (3-30 second) exposures, which seems to give the best results. I have the RAW files, but didn't tinker with them and just used the JPEGs.

Started wiring the quadrocopter. The silicon parallel wiring harnesses took surprisingly long to do well. There is a battery placeholder in there (cardboard and painter's tape). Nylon plastic screws and standoffs are surprisingly useful since you can apparently use a tap on wood. I put the Udoo on risers above the battery on the top, since it is kind of heavy and should be centered, but I am a little worried about all that heat. Ideally, the IMU should be in the center as well.

More progress on the quadrocopter. All 5 cams lightened, spliced, and mounted to the frame and wired to a stripped down powered USB hub.

12V 60A power supply. May add more to get it up to 120A (4 rails of 30A). It's for testing a quadrocopter. The motors I have say they might draw up to 25A each. I haven't been able to test it yet, but it might be too much power to easily do tethered.

My keyboard has two Q's. They thought I wouldn't notice but I did. Thanks Logitech. I was thinking about getting one that didn't even have labelled keys, so it's not like I need it to be right. Now that I see it though, it's all I see... #mildlyinfuriating
