Given that our rulers and masters in black robes are unlikely to rule it unconstitutional (which is what the Founding Fathers had in mind), I think you are right in your suggestion to redress Congress of our grievance!

But where does the Bill of Rights say that only the right to keep and bear sporting arms is protected anyway? The Founders' motivation and intent was actually quite the opposite; sport was NOT what they had in mind in penning the Bill of Rights and Second Amendment!

+Cal Brabandt I recommend we also write and specifically pressure the NRA to back a Constitutional challenge to the M855 ban, the former BATF bans (Barnes Solids bullets and 5.45x39), and the underlying Law Enforcement Officers Protection Act of 1986, because the bans do not meet the Miller standard or meet other Constitutional tests. Tell the NRA that its opposition and support of this legal effort is imperative!

I'm not saying that members of Congress should not be contacted too, but Obama will surely veto any action that Congress takes and M855 supplies will be dead by the next election. Even a lawsuit will take too long, unless a judge were to issue a stay of execution on the BATF ban.

>10-percent of your registered gun owners are felons, Maryland? Really?

Well, actually--the number is closer to 100% than 10% (though most of these felony law-breakers are not discovered or convicted):

Robots worry me greatly (not necessarily just the ones that have a human appearance, but also drone robots). Lacking a conscience and physical and emotional needs, they will likely become tyrannical governments' perfect weapon!

Good point about over-travel! I don't like it in my rifles either, because I expect better accuracy from a rifle than a handgun and over-travel is still an impediment to accuracy. As you say, the over-travel in the current Saints Arms kit is probably a trade-off to improve the likelihood the parts will fit and function in any pistol. Most importantly for me, the kit moves the breakpoint forward and away from the rear of the trigger guard, where my hand gets all bound-up!

Whenever you are offended by something in life just remember--something you do is offensive to others too. If you don't like the billboard, don't patronize the advertiser's business. You might want to entirely avoid Vegas too!

Well...I sort of agree with at least the bottom line of the Supremes'
decision but, philosophically, I also don't believe in minimum wage laws
or any sort of state-mandated employee benefits or "protections."

Moral "at-will" employment relationships are voluntary and can only
exist within a free and peaceful market for labor and employment.  If
employees don't like their employer's terms, they can quit!  The
betterment of their employment situation will be far better served by a
fully free and peaceful market than the muzzle of the state's guns
(laws).

Maybe the story's title should be "Amazon, The Supremes, and The Real Grinch (The State)!"
Why the Supreme Court’s decision that Amazon doesn’t have to compensate workers for the time it takes to search them is a slap in the face to blue-collar Americans everywhere.

Wow--I would never have thought of using an anti-seize lubricant on a trigger. I found that many Loctite and Permatex products and SKUs are available. Can you please tell us which brand and SKU you used (Permatex 80071, Permatex 80078, Loctite 37539, Loctite 38650, etc)?  Thanks for the tip!

I use Permatex Anti-Seize #133A , No other numbers or SKU, on the tube. I do not put it on the trigger or pins. You put a light film on the engagement surfaces between the sear face and the hammer, and I also coat the surfaces between the hammer and disconnector engagement surfaces.

I recommend testing the function of the external thumb safety too. My first Saints Arms hammer (new kit) did not function reliably with my safety and Saints Arms had to send a replacement hammer to me.
